Principal's Message

Welcome to Sutton Public School!

At our school, we work hard to develop effective learning partnerships and active engagement in student achievement and well-being. Our School Improvement Plan outlines our strategies and goals to create and maintain a learning culture where everyone feels safe, included, and respected; while also focusing on the foundational skills of literacy and mathematics. We believe that each child needs to be given opportunities to reach their potential through high expectations and a rigorous curriculum. We are committed to creating classrooms where students feel like they belong and have a voice.

Respect and kindness play important roles in our school. At Sutton, we create and maintain a healthy and productive working and learning environment that fosters kindness and respect for, and is supportive of, the dignity, self-esteem and fair treatment of each Stinger. It is important that this message of high expectations, kindness and respect for others is a similar message a student receives at home in order for them to build positive relationships with staff and their peers. We will continue to build positive and collaborative partnerships between students, staff, and parents.  We are all Sutton Stingers!
