History

Sutton P.S. is named after Sutton, Ontario.

Originally called Bouchier Mills after the pioneer, who built the dam in 1831, Sutton is a rural town located on Lake Simcoe. It includes scenic areas such as Jackson's Point, Sibbald Provincial Park and the Black River.

 

Facilities

Sutton P.S. was officially opened in 1950. Additions were placed on the original school in 1958/90/93.

 

Mission

The mission of Sutton P.S. is to provide a positive, caring and safe learning environment where staff, students, parents and community are partners to develop and celebrate the social and academic growth of every child.
